Audi Reviews

I purchased a brand new 2024 q7 that from day one has had to go in for service and has been in several times since. Each issue has compounded and I’ve been lied to, delayed, pushed out and ignored by their team. I decided to take a buyout from the dealer and Audi won’t even remove my 10k through 50k service prepaid plan from the ledger, which is $1,000’s of dollars I’ll never get to use due to them practically ruining my vehicle. I have every email and every photo including the dealers own service adivisor saying “audi should just send you a new vehicle at the is point” after my last service. All they’ve done is make the process of swapping out the vehicle unbearable. I get it’s a business and profit is important but it isn’t everything. On top of that, they are profiting off me anyway as I’ve continued to make every payment on the vehicle even as there have been 10-12 issues with it. Every time I’ve taken it in for service the vehicle has been handed back in worse condition with compounding issues so I’m basically stuck losing $1,000s of dollars and they won’t even refund services I’m asking to refund to just get out of the vehicle. For reference my family only drives primarily Audis which is why I purchased this, and all the cars we’ve bought from Audi have been new including a q8 and a8 which are two of their premium vehicles. I even purchased an extended warranty with the services wanting to have this be a long term purchase but the car has been treated so poorly I literally can’t keep it. They’ve lost loyal customers over nothing but greed and ignorance.

As an update - I gave Audi and VW 3 more chances to rectify this situation by simply removing my prepaid services so I can at least recoup some money and they’ve denied that request. I wasn’t even told when I purchased the vehicle those services couldn’t be removed. They just talked me into them when purchasing the vehicle without walking through all the details. I’ll take some of the blame for that for not fully reading the contract but I never assumed a brand new 70,000$ vehicle would fall apart and it never came to mind it may not be refundable. customer service told me they do these things to protect the customer. They also told me that once I accept a buyout from the dealer costing me $1,000’s in wasted money to get out of a car they ruined, my case will be closed. They’re the worst company/people I’ve ever dealt with (factually).

As a further update: I had 900$ deducted from my trade in because I was missing a key insert. They wouldn’t even meet me at their cost, I was charged market value. Again, this is on a vehicle I purchased brand new, was ruined by their company, and I was backed into a corner to accept a buyout to move on.

I have bought four 6 figure Audis sense 2015. The latest a 2023 SQ7 is fantastic HOWEVER for the first time I have to pay 35 dollars to unlock some of the cool nav features. I am really mad about his. I will not be buying another Audi EVER because of this greediness. You spend 125,000 for a vehicle and they have the audacity to charge for what they consider premium features. Wake up Audi the SQ7 is a premium vehicle! You just lost a customer! Like you are going to care, especially in the USA. of course the Germans would be all over this.

I HATE my Audi Q7

I HATE my Audi Q7, purchased 6 weeks ago in Asheville, NC. The car has a mind of its own, & is clearly a safety hazard on the road. Functions appear random. (I’ve had to read my manual repeatedly just to drive this thing). Furthermore, I had a drive system error within first couple of weeks ownership, resulting in computer system replacement, & my car being in service for days. Customer service is horrendous; I nearly had a stroke trying to get car scheduled for that repair. Apple airplay sometimes connects, other times is seriously delayed. So many distractions & frustrations, too numerous to state all…This truly is the worst car I’ve ever owned, including Ford, Chrysler, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Range Rover. I realize I’ll take a hit in getting rid of it, but can’t wait to unload this thing!

The worst auto service experience I've…

The worst auto service experience I've ever had. Little to no communication between service and customer. It took a year and corporate involvement to have FACTORY RECALLS on airbag and leaky fuel line handled. Never another Audi and never ANY car from Crown.

Terrible customer service! Audi of America

I contacted Audi of America to see if they have a forgiveness program. I was told that Mazda pays for peoples leases when they get into accidents. Originally they said they would pay two months of my lease because Audi does not have the parts available and they have no estimated time of arrival, it went from 1000 in the nation leading the same part to 5000. I have not had a car since February my rental fees for $6000 so I had to lease another car while still paying the lease on this car. Audi did absolutely nothing to help me and tried to tell me that the autobody shop did not expedite the parts , then they denied it by saying that the autobody shop was not Audi certified. I told him in New York State you can go to any autobody shop as long as they order the parts from Audi which they did out of America did nothing to help me. It’s just ridiculous.

I am (was) a long time Audi owner

I am (was) a long time Audi owner. The service has deteriorated lately. Emails and voicemails to the dealer go unanswered. The build quality has gone downhill as well.

Don’t be enticed by their Silvercar promotion. It took 8 months to get the required code and they backdate the start date to when the car was purchased, not when they sent the code so I have 4 months to use the promotion. Audi and Silvercar refuse to correct their mistake.
RUN, don’t walk, from this brand. On my last Audi.

Only because zero stars is not an option!

Zombie company in the truest sense. ZERO regard for customers.

Phone and website are nothing but a facade, no one cares. Nothing “premium “ about owning an Audi.

I will NEVER buy from them again, ever.

Faulty Car & Unethical Practices

This is the 4th Audi I have owned, definitely my last. The performance of the car is basic, but will get you from point A to point B. The primary frustration is that the AudiConnect app never works. It is sold as a great tool to monitor and control your vehicle, however has only worked 1 out of the 6 months I have owned the vehicle. The dealership and Audi have been ineffective at addressing the issue. I spend hours each week waiting on hold, sometimes up to 2.5 hours, to find out if they have resolved the issues. Each week I submit the screenshots with the error codes and the weeks roll by with no follow up from Santa Barbara Auto group or Audi Corporate. The dealership says they have no solution and suggest there is nothing they can or will do. Don’t waste your money with Audi.

Q5 Quattro S-Line

Bought the Q5 3.2L Sportline model, happy with the SUV. Reliable and nothing but normal wear, but as expected, high parts/repair costs. Would buy another.

From Fan to Furious

As an owner of 4 Audi's, I have been very happy with the cars, performance, looks, and driving experience. Until, my 2017 Q7 hit 100,000 miles and promptly blew 3 cylinders . No warning to that point, a warning light came on shortly before to indicate get to a dealership (not pull over and shut the car down) and then it died - on my wife on the highway !
A new engine was recommended by the local Audi dealership at a quote of #30,000.00 The only positive in this experience was that the dealership we use was amazing - a shout out to Asheville Audi/FlowAuto for going above and beyond!! This Q7 was meticulous in all other aspects - loved the look and the way it drove. It was maintained according to the manufacturers schedule, with the maintenance at 95,000 miles. How a vehicle with only 100,000 miles (mostly highway) blows 3 cylinders is a mystery to say the least. Audi USA unfortunately has been silent and not terribly helpful. What brand will the next 3 cars be remains an open question.

I leased Audi last week of May 2022

I leased Audi last week of May 2022. Begin of the October someone hit my car, that was parked on the street at the front of my house. 3.5 months later my auto body shop still waiting for the rest of the parts to repair the car. I'm paying lease and renting the car Any insurance carrier pays only between 30-60 days for rental car. I have BMW's and Mercedes's and I never had any issues with parts. Stay away from Audi, this is my first and last Audi!

I would give zero stars for the service…

I would give zero stars for the service department of Danbury (CT) Audi if it was an option. I just spent $1,878 to repair breaks on my 7 year old Audi Q7. They replaced pads, rotors and sensors. A typical brake job. This is an absolute travesty and a complete RIPOFF. I spoke to a mechanic friend of mine who told me that they took me to the cleaners. Says the price at best should be half that cost. Please BEWARE of this place.

PLEASE! I know they are cool, BUT BUY ANOTHER SUV!!

I talked with RALEIGH LEITH AUDI DEALER about an ONGOING COOLANT ISSE that had begun WHEN THE CAR WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY and he said they could not evaluate the issue until Dec. 23rd. I said I leave for Florida for 3 months on the 27th and he said that was the best they could do. That is 8 weeks out, folks!

I said I felt tricked because the dealership told me off the record, WHEN THE CAR WAS STILL UNDER WARRENTY that losing coolant was to be expected and if it continued they would test it LATER.

The car is now out of warranty and they will not even look at it until it is too late for me. I have "walked in" before so I know they can handle issues that need quick attention. This is an avoidance tactic.

Leith Audi Raleigh will not give me advice until Dec. 23rd, so basically, they have washed their hands of this as I need more immediate help.

I willl never buy Audi again and I will post this review on as many websites as I can find.
